Parking

There is no public parking at the bottom in the old village.

Visitor parking is in the two public car parks at the top of the village but both are likely to be busy.

The official Staithes Weekender car parking is at the Cleveland Corrosion Control factory, adjacent to the two public car parks at the top of the village (follow SatNav info above). There will be a big sign. We have room for about 100 cars at £5/day.

The Upper Visitor car park will also have an overflow for 40-50 cars using the same meter system as the regular car park. Follow signs.

Please be considerate of local residents and do not park in the street or on verges.

Toilets

There are public toilets at the Council car park at the top of the village by the Gateway Centre and at the bottom of the village beside the Seadrift cafe on the sea front.

Staithes Weekender Information

Visit our Information Point opposite The Gallery in the bottom village. There you can pick up a brochure with a schedule of events and find out about talks and workshops.

We will also have leaflets available at the Gateway Welcome Centre in the main visitors carpark.

Talk to a volunteer wearing CREW T-shirts, who are helping to make this weekend fun for everybody.

Tickets

Please buy tickets online.

Any unsold tickets will be available on the day at the Information Point in the village.

First Aid

If you or a member of your party are injured please talk to one of the crew to summon help, or go to St Peter’s Centre where a qualified medic is available to administer first aid.

Children

Parents/guardians please pick up a festival identity band at one of the Information Points, and write on it your contact phone number, then please put the band on your child’s wrist. In the unlikely event your child gets lost he/she will be taken to St Peter’s Centre and be looked after until you arrive to collect.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our beautiful village. Thank you for coming
